PPF Renata Kelnerová and Tomas Otruba are acquiring the luxury Prague hotel Four Seasons.
PPF Investment Group, controlled by Renata Kellnerová and Tomas Otruba, has acquired another luxury hotel. This time it is the prestigious Four Seasons hotel near the Charles Bridge overlooking Prague Castle. The 157-room hotel complex was previously owned by the investment fund Northwood Investors.
Four Seasons is the third Czech hotel in which Kellner has acquired a stake in the last 12 months. Last summer, together with Tomáš Otruba and his daughter Anna Kellner, it bought the Harmony Club hotel in Špindlerův Mlýn. This was followed in December by the acquisition of Hilton Prague, the largest hotel in the Czech Republic, through PPF Real Estate. Four Seasons is not expected to be the last hotel acquisition as PPF continues to monitor opportunities in Prague and Karlovy Vary.
The value of the transaction is estimated at approximately CZK 3 billion. Neither party has yet commented on the transaction.
