The largest Czech hotel changes hands

PPF has acquired Hilton Prague, the largest hotel in the Czech Republic, from Quinn Hotels.

PPF has acquired the Hilton Prague through PPF Real Estate. The hotel in Karlín, with 800 rooms on 11 floors and 7,500 square metres of conference space, is one of the landmarks of Prague's tourism industry. The transaction has been approved by the Office for the Protection of Competition. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed, but is expected to be in the range of 250 milion to 300 milion euros.

PPF operates in 25 countries and focuses on telecommunications, media, financial services, e-commerce, real estate, engineering and biotechnology. It manages assets worth 44 billion euros and employs 55,000 people, of which 18,000 are in the Czech Republic.
