Czech EMMA Group acquires Romanian Diamedex

EMMA Capital Group becomes the new owner of Romanian Diamedix.

EMMA Capital Group, the investment holding company of Jiri Smejc, through its medical division EMMA ZETA, has acquired 100% of the shares in Romanian company Diamedix, which specializes in medical laboratory instruments and tests, from Spanish group Buenavista Equity Partners. Diamedix offers over 8,000 products to customers in Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine. In 2024, Diamedix will achieve a turnover of 67 million euros, increasing EMMA ZETA's total turnover to 220 million euros. The move follows last year's acquisition of Magna Pharmica, a distributor of medical equipment and technology in Southeast Europe. Parties did not disclose the value of the transaction.
