Penta Hospitals currently operates 3 nursing homes and 36 "ALZHEIMER HOME" homes. The purchase of 17 nursing homes will expand its operations to all regions of Czechia and increase the total number of beds from 3,500 to 6,000, which constitutes almost 10% of all beds in the Czech Republic. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs projects that there will be a shortage of 15,000 beds in nursing homes by 2035, which may attract additional investors to this sector in the coming years.

The Penta investment group continues to expand its wide-ranging healthcare portfolio, which also includes the DR. Max pharmacy network and 10 hospitals. In doing so it pursues one of its goals - to become the largest private provider of health care services in the Czech Republic.
