The Czech operator of a network of healthcare facilities has expanded its portfolio by acquiring TeamPrevent-Santé and Santé Group, providers of occupational health and premium medical services.

In addition to 11 hospitals and 38 elderly care facilities and home care, Penta Hospitals operates a network of clinics concentrated mainly in Prague and the Karlovy Vary region. The acquisition of TeamPrevent-Santé brought with it clinics in Brno and Pilsen and two clinics in Prague accounting for 200 employees. In addition to general medicine, dentistry, gynaecology, ophthalmology and dermatology, TeamPrevent-Santé provided occupational health services to 800 companies with more than 200,000 employees. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.

Penta Hospitals said in its press release that it is only at the beginning of its expansion. By accounting for the previous purchase of SeneCura, which operates a network of homes for the elderly, we can expect further acquisitions by Penta Hospitals in 2025.
