Genesis Growth Equity Fund I announced the acquisition of a majority stake in TechPlasty, a Slovak company active in the technical plastics sector.

TechPlasty specializes in providing expert advice and custom manufacturing of engineering plastics, offering both semi-finished and finished products. Over the past 30 years, the company has established itself as a leader in the Slovak industrial plastics sector. Thanks to its own TechPlasty system, it serves more than 1,500 active clients and processes over 11,000 orders per year. The company is based in Žilina and employs 16 people. In 2023, it reported sales of EUR 4.6 million.

Genesis Growth Equity Fund I is a private equity fund that focuses on investments in small and medium-sized companies with high growth potential, primarily in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The fund size is EUR 40 million and it typically invests EUR 2-6 million in target companies.
