The German international engineering group Manz AG is selling its Slovak subsidiary Manz Slovakia to the Malaysian company Greatech Technology Berhad.

Greatech, a leading provider of automation solutions, is buying Slovak subsidiary Manz Slovakia from German competitor Manz AG. The company focuses on the manufacture and design of machines, equipment and automated lines in the automotive, battery and solar industries.

Manz Slovakia, with a factory in Nové Město nad Váhom and 240 employees, generated sales of €56 million in 2023 and accounted for 40% of Manz AG's total sales. In the same period, its EBITDA reached 2.2 million euros. The value of the transaction was not disclosed by the parties.
