The Prague Stock Exchange has been rising for five days. The PX index improved by 0.9 percent to 1233.21 points. Komerční banka's shares, which currently participate in the PX index by 24.43 percent, made the most significant contribution, with a gain of 1.44 percent. Shares of SHS PHOTON ENERGY and banking company Moneta recorded the biggest increase today. The largest decrease in value affected the shares of the power company ČEZ and the company Pilulka Lékárny. This follows from the results of trading on the stock exchange's website. Of the ten main titles of the Prague Stock Exchange, six ended trading in the positive today, while another issue stagnated. The most significant growth was achieved by SHS PHOTON ENERGY securities, which improved by 5.15 percent to 69.40 crowns. Furthermore, the securities of Bank Moneta rose by 1.52 percent to 73.50 crowns. On the other hand, the most significant decline was experienced by the shares of the electricity company ČEZ, which fell by 1.11 percent to the closing price of CZK 803. The shares of Pilulka Lékárny, which fell by 0.75 percent to 660 crowns, were among the other losers on the Prague Stock Exchange. For two days now, they have been surpassing their two-year minimum, when their value dropped to 660 during the day. CEZ's securities recorded the largest volume of trades, namely 45 percent, today. The second most traded title (at 26 percent) was the shares of Komerční banka. The shares of the Austrian banking house Erste Group Bank reached the third largest trading volume - namely 21 percent.
