The Prague Stock Exchange has been rising for four days. The PX index improved by 2.73 percent to 1222.15 points. The most significant contributor was the shares of the Austrian group Erste Group Bank, which currently participate in the PX index by 23.47 percent, with a gain of 9.63 percent. The shares of the Austrian banking group Erste Group Bank and Moneta Bank recorded the most significant increase. The largest decrease in value affected the shares of Pilulka Lékárna and Česká zbrojovka. This is according to the data of the stock exchange website. Eight of the ten main titles of the Prague Stock Exchange finished trading in the red today. Among the strengthening issues were two - Erste Group Bank, ČEZ, which participated in the absolute majority (80 percent) of the total volume of trades on the stock exchange. The biggest increase today was recorded by the shares of the Austrian banking house Erste Group Bank, which improved by 9.63 percent to 678.60 crowns. For two days now, they have exceeded their five-month maximum, when their value rose to 682 during the day. The securities of the banking company Moneta also rose by 2.4 percent to 72.40 crowns. In contrast, the shares of Pilulka Lékárny showed the biggest decline, which lost 5 percent to 665 crowns. At the same time, during the day, the value of CZK 665 exceeded its two-year low from November 2022. The shares of Česká zbrojovka also did not fare well, falling by 1.27 percent. Securities of the Austrian banking house Erste Group Bank recorded the largest volume of trades, i.e. 64 percent. The second most traded title (at 16 percent) was the shares of the energy company ČEZ. Shares of Komerční banka achieved the third largest trading volume - 16 percent.
