Hospital bed manufacturer Linet Group is expanding its portfolio with the acquisition of French company Domalys, which specialises in ergonomic furniture and smart technologies for fall prevention.
Domalys, founded in 2013 by Arnaud Brillaud, employs around twenty people and has annual sales of around 100 million crowns. Its main product, the innovative Aladin solution, is designed to detect and prevent falls and is used in more than six thousand nursing homes and hospitals across France.
The Linet Group is headquartered in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, and employs approximately 2,000 people. It owns four production plants and twenty subsidiaries and operates in more than 100 countries. The company was founded thirty years ago by Zbyněk Frolík in Želevčice u Slaného, where one of the production plants is located, another one is directly in Slany.
Linet has been strengthening its market position for several years through strategic acquisitions. It recently added to its portfolio the Austrian startup Cubile, which developed a smart pad for tracking dynamic body signals, and the Australian distribution company Pegasus Health Group, which specialized in the distribution of Linet products.
