Homecare Holding employs over fifty nurses and provides care to over a thousand patients annually. The company provides home care in Prague and Pilsen and specialised procedures such as peritoneal dialysis and wound care.

Penta Hospitals provides home care in several regions of the Czech Republic and this acquisition represents a suitable complement in terms of regional coverage and quality of services. Penta Hospitals CZ is part of the Central European healthcare holding Penta Hospitals International, which is one of the largest providers of health and social services in Central Europe, with nearly 24,000 employees and 46 hospitals.

The Genesis Fund invested in the development of Homecare Holding over a period of four years. This exit is the first for GGEF I, which manages deposits from various institutions such as European Investment Fund, Amundi Czech Republic, Kooperativa pojišt'ovna and RSJ Financial Group, among others, with a total volume of EUR 40 million.

Private equity groups are increasingly interested in the healthcare sector due to its aging population, stable returns and attractive opportunities for future exits.
