Japan's Yanmar Group to acquire Tedom Group

Energo-Pro, the largest Czech investor in the hydropower sector, has signed an agreement to buy seven hydropower plants in Brazil from Canadian fund Brookfield Asset Management. The total installed capacity of these plants is 90 megawatts.
Hydroelectric power plants are located on the Verde, Lambari, Pomba and Grande rivers. The largest of these, Verde 4A, has a capacity of 28 megawatts, while the smallest produces 3.8 megawatts. The acquisition further diversifies Energo-Pro's international portfolio, with Brazil becoming its fifth foreign market after Bulgaria, Georgia, Turkey and Spain. In addition, Energo-Pro is also active in Colombia, where the Chorreritas hydroelectric power plant is under construction and expected to be completed in 2026.
Energo-Pro was founded in 1994 and is part of DK Holding Investments, owned by entrepreneur Jaromír Tesar. Last year, the group, with almost 9,700 employees, reported EBITDA of EUR 322.8 million, a five per cent increase year-on-
