EMMA has taken full control of Mail Step

EMMA Capital of Jiří Šmejc has acquired a 100% stake in the fulfilment company Mail Step.

The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection has allowed EMMA Capital to take full control of Mail Step. Mail Step is one of the largest domestic companies focused on fulfillment - warehousing and logistics in the e-commerce sector. Mail Step handles over 20 thousand shipments from more than 200 e-shops daily. In 2023, it achieved a turnover of CZK 800 million, while operating at a loss of CZK 1 million.

Mail Step was previously part of the Packeta Group, where EMMA held a 35% stake, with the remaining 65% owned by global investment company CVC. EMMA Alpha Holding of Jiri Smejc owns stakes in 11 companies with a total value of over EUR 1 billion. It focuses on investments in the energy, gaming and pharmaceutical distribution and e-commerce sectors. The parties involved did not disclose the value of the transaction.
