Majority of electricity in Slovakia is produced by nuclear power stations, followed by conventional power stations and hydro stations.
There are currently 4 reactors in use in Slovakia. Two of these are located in the power plant in Mochovce, another two are located in the Bohunice power plant. The launch of the fifth reactor is scheduled for September 2022.
