PPF increases stake in Polish company InPost

PPF Group has acquired an additional five percent stake in InPost from Advent International. The Company will pay EUR 10.5 for each share, for a total consideration of over EUR 269 million. The transaction will bring PPF's stake in InPost to 21.71 per cent.

Advent International has also agreed to grant PPF an option to purchase an additional 10 percent of the shares. Listed on Euronext Amsterdam, InPost operates in eight Western European countries, including France and the UK, and in its home market of Poland. The company manages approximately 33,000 self-service mailboxes for e-commerce clients and develops fulfillment centers for the storage and distribution of shipments, providing logistics solutions to online retailers.

PPF Group operates in 25 countries in Europe, Asia and North America. Its investment portfolio covers a variety of sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, media, biotechnology, real estate and engineering. The Group's major players include Home Credit, Air Bank, telecommunications companies Cetin and O2, real estate group PPF Real Estate Holding, engineering company Škoda Group and Czech toll operator CzechToll.
