Havrlant is acquiring Prostějov-based army jammer manufacturer URC Systems through a newly established entity, Piombino Group, which was created in April 2022. The transaction is currently being reviewed by the Office for the Protection of Competition.

Founded in 1998, URC Systems focuses on the development and manufacture of exploration and disruption technologies including related software. These include information and communications infrastructure solutions, particularly in the areas of electronic reconnaissance, communications jamming and anti-drone measures. In the fiscal year ending June 2023, the company generated revenues of CZK 705 million, up CZK 320 million from a year earlier. Net profit for the period was CZK 160 million, up CZK 23.5 million from the previous year. In the middle of last year, the company had 120 employees.

Rockaway Capital's portfolio includes companies such as Invia Group, Euromedia Group and start-up Productboard, which is the second Czech start-up to reach a billion-dollar valuation in 2022. Rockaway has also completed several sales, such as Mall Group to the Polish company Allegro.
