Hartenberg's e-commerce division, the enterstore group, has acquired a majority stake in Miss Mary of Sweden. According to Hospodářské noviny, the value of the transaction could be in excess of two billion crowns.
Miss Mary of Sweden was founded in 1957 and over the years has built a reputation for quality, well-fitting lingerie and swimwear. The company has production facilities in Sweden, Estonia and now also in Sri Lanka. In addition to Scandinavia, it is also doing well in the Benelux and US markets. Enterstore Group bought a majority stake from the Swedish investment fund Scope, which owns, among other things, the well-known sock brand Happy Socks.
The Enterstore Group was founded in 2018. In addition to Astratex, its portfolio also includes Sportega, an e-shop with sporting goods, Ovečkárna, a seller of sheep wool products, and unuodesign, a textile company from Tábor. According to information on its website, Enterstore has a turnover of more than EUR 100 million. The group operates in 17 countries and serves more than four million customers.
