Skupina XXXLutz koupila německý nábytkářský řetězec Porta-Group. Oba partneři se dohodli, že kupní cenu nezveřejní.

The Austrian XXXLutz Group, which operates more than 370 furniture stores in 14 European countries, has bought out the founding families of the Porta Group, one of Germany's largest furniture retailers. The Porta Group owns more than 120 German stores under the Porta, Möbel Boss and Möbel Letz brands, as well as an additional 22 ASKO furniture stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

With this acquisition, the XXXLutz Group strengthens its position in Central Europe. The company operates 28 XXXLutz, Möbelix and Kika stores in the Czech Republic with a total annual turnover of 250 million euros, and the acquisition of ASKO should increase the total turnover by another 60 million euros. In Slovakia, XXXLutz operates another 20 stores and world-wide turnover of XXXLutz was more than than 6 billion euros. The transaction is subject to approval by the German antitrust authority.
