Genesis Growth Equity Fund I (GGEF I) has acquired a majority stake in Předvýběr.CZ, a company specialising in the pre-selection of candidates for middle and junior positions.

The company was founded in 2008 in Prague by František Boudný and Vladimír Kočí. Both founders will remain significant minority shareholders. The company employs over 50 people and achieved sales of nearly €3 million in 2023.

GGEF I is a growth PE fund focused on investments in smaller and medium-sized companies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia with significant growth potential. With a fund size of EUR 40 million, GGEF I invests typically EUR 2-6 million in target companies. The fund has raised capital from international and domestic institutions, including the European Investment Fund (EIF), Amundi Czech Republic, Kooperativa pojišt'ovna, Česká podnikatelská pojišt'ovna, RSJ Financial Group and Sirius Investments.
