PPF buys Serbian internet and cable TV provider SBB.

e& PPF, a member of the Czech investment group PPF, intends to acquire 100% of SBB from United Group. The Serbian broadband internet and cable TV operator with more than 700,000 customers will join other companies in e& PPF's that are operating in Serbia - CETIN and Yettel.

As part of the transaction, United Group will retain its media assets, including the N1 and Nova S TV channels. e& PPF has also committed to spinning off SBB's satellite division, which it will sell to Telekom Srbija. The total value of the transaction is 825 million euros and its completion is subject to the approval of the relevant regulators.

The e&P PPF Group is a provider of telecommunications services in Central and Southeast Europe with assets worth EUR 8.5 billion. For the first half of 2024, it reported a turnover of 1.9 billion euros and a profit of 0.9 billion euros.
