Czech Direct pojišťovna, which is part of VIGO Investment, is expanding into Poland. The Czech and Polish regulatory authorities have allowed Direct Pojišt'ovna to acquire the Polish part of Wefox, a multinational company undergoing restructuring. Direct will gain 400,000 Polish clients through this acquisition, nearly doubling its insurance client base.

In 2024, Vigo had a turnover of CZK 8bn and 600,000 clients, half a million of which fall under Direct pojišťovna. The parties decided not to comment on the value of the transaction.
