In 2018, Veritas Capital, which invests in companies at the junction of government and technology, acquired the US public sector advisory division of PricewaterhouseCoopers for an undisclosed price and renamed it Guidehouse. Since then, Guidehouse has made a number of strategic acquisitions, including Navigant Consulting in 2019, Dovel Technologies in 2021 and public sector consultancy Grant Thornton last year. These moves, along with its own developments, have fueled Guidehouse's remarkable growth and increased its annual revenue from just under $600 million in 2018 to a projected $3 billion this year.

BainCapital is one of the world's leading PE firms, managing approximately $180 billion in assets. Founded in 1984, the firm takes an advisory approach to investing, working closely with and supporting management teams. The firm has made several recent acquisitions, including the US$3.16 billion purchase of Chinese data centre operator Chindata Group and the acquisition of 90% of India's Adani Capital and Adani Housing, significantly expanding its global footprint.
